Stability

Stability - the world is again changing. Many countries are opening up little by little. What is the world we are awakening to? Did we change? Did you change? Habits? Views? Ways? In yoga we often talk about the stable inner self. But there are other stable points that we can turn to in this time of turbulence and change. Nature is one, although the seasons change and all develops we have a certain rhythm that moves in nature. It is reassuring.

In yoga, the North star is a symbol for stability and we can use it to meditate on. Try it out - if you cannot see from where you are, picture it. If you can see it, watch with open eyes. In both cases, repeat and repeat and then try to gradually close your eyes, keeping the picture for your inner eye.

Help your self to keep direction and stability although a cyclone is raging, waves are high and your surrounding and even yourself is being thrown around. Have this in mind also when you are travelling and moving.

Love, Susanne

PS Polaris (/poʊˈlɛərɪs/), designated α Ursae Minoris (Latinized to Alpha Ursae Minoris, abbreviated Alpha UMi, α UMi), commonly the North Star or Pole Star, is the brightest star in the constellation of Ursa Minor. It is very close to the north celestial pole, making it the current northern pole star.
